This dynamic parish is made up of two distinct congregations - Word of Life United Methodist Church and Spirit of Joy Lutheran Church - who have come together in partnership to worship and serve as one body in Christ.

In 2010, after much prayer and discernment, the congregations made the decision to formally merge, creating a new cooperative parish that would honor their individual traditions while working together for the greater good.
