With a rich history dating back to its founding in the early 20th century, the Catholic Community of Ocala has grown and evolved over the years, becoming a pillar of spiritual strength and support for its members and the wider community.
The Catholic Community of Ocala is made up of several active parishes, each with its own unique character and offerings. St. Mary's Catholic Church, the oldest of the parishes, has been serving the spiritual needs of Ocala residents since the early 1900s. St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, founded in the 1950s, has a strong tradition of community outreach and service. Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, the youngest of the parishes, was established in the 1990s and has quickly become a hub of worship and fellowship for Catholics in the area.
