The Catholic Community of Ocala is made up of several active parishes, each with its own unique character and offerings. St. Mary's Catholic Church, the oldest of the parishes, has been serving the spiritual needs of Ocala residents since the early 1900s. St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, founded in the 1950s, has a strong tradition of community outreach and service. Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, the youngest of the parishes, was established in the 1990s and has quickly become a hub of worship and fellowship for Catholics in the area.
